The RED BOOK

The National Directory of Morticians Inc., Red Book, was founded in 1936 to provide information to funeral homes in the United States in order assist funeral directors serving families in their time of need.  Red Book has continued this tradition to include Canada, Mexico, England and South America.

What is inside the printed version

The Red Book (printed version) contains over 25 sections pertaining to the funeral industry.  The funeral home section shows every funeral home in the United States and Canada along with preferred funeral homes in Mexico, England and other countries.

To be listed and/or advertise in this section, you must be licensed as a funeral home to conduct funerals according to your states applicable laws.  We provide support by sending a Red Book Agent to the funeral home location to confirm information and assist the funeral director.

Online Directory

The Red Book Online Funeral Directory provides information that can be accessed by the general public to assist them in locating the firm of their choice.  It is our policy to not interfere with the family's selection process and encourage families to talk with their funeral director.  The funeral director is your best source for information.
